Saskatchewan Conducts New Draw, Invites 576 Express Entry and Occupation in Demand Candidates.
In a recent draw conducted through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee program on February 27th 2020, a total of 576 Candidates were issued invitation to apply (ITA)under the express entry and occupation in demand categories.
In order to be eligible for these sub-categories, a job offer in Saskatchewan is not required however Candidates need to have a minimum of one year of work experience in an eligible skilled occupation related to their field of study.
Invitations were issued to 301 candidates who had profiles in the federal Express Entry pool while 275 Occupations In-Demand candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination. The minimum score used in the recent draw was 69 for both sub-categories.
Selected Candidates from the express entry pool who apply and receive a provincial nomination receive additional 600 points to their CRS thus increasing their chances for a federal invite to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
Between January and February 2020 alone the province of Saskatchewan has issued 1764 ITA to Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the SINP programme.
