Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)

If you are not eligible for the Express Entry you can still be lucky to be selected for one of the provincial nomination Programs. Many provinces have different programs that have flexible requirements which may allow you to be nominated.

Provincial programs may enable individuals in specific categories to be nominated: Students, Skilled Worker and Semi-Skilled Workers with job offers, International Students who have graduated with a bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree, or PhD from a Canadian University, Health Care Professionals and Entrepreneurs.

In general, the province attracts, finds, and nominates immigrants. Then they refer approved candidates to federal immigration authorities in order to issue permanent resident visas.
