The first draw for the year 2021 in the province of Manitoba were issued to 272 candidates through the international students and skilled workers within Manitoba and overseas categories. For the Skilled workers in Manitoba, 236 Candidates were invited while a total of 7 invites were issued to Skilled Workers overseas and 29 invitations to Candidates in the International Education Stream. Only 18 letters of advice were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code. In the latest draw, a minimum score of 461 was used to select candidates under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream while candidates invited from the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream had a minimum score of 722.
Candidates need to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) in order to be invited for a provincial nomination from Manitoba through both the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas categories. Likewise, invitations were issued to some international students who are Manitoba graduates that were invited under the International Education Stream.
